  • 12 Krispy Kreme donuts stale
  • 1 1/3 cup milk (whole milk)
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk NOT evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Chocolate Glaze

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Grease a 9×13 casserole dish.

  3. In a large bowl cut the donuts in pieces, about 6-8 pieces per donuts.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sweet condensed milk and vanilla extract until combined.

  5. Pour the mixture over the donuts pieces and gently fold so every piece gets some of the mixture.

  6. Once combined, pour into the prepared dish.

  7. Scatter the chocolate chips on top of it.

  8. Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until golden. It will still have a little jiggle in the middle.

Chocolate Glaze

  1. As soon as the bread pudding comes out of the oven. Heat the heavy cream in a small pan. Take it out of the oven right before it starts to boil.

  2. Add the chocolate chips and wait for about a minute.

  3. Mix with a spatula until smooth.

  4. Drizzle some on top of the bread pudding. And indulge the rest when you serve it.

  5. It’s best served warm!
